In Life Change Happens

Whasup everyone?!! It's been a pleasure writing and sharing with you on CLM. I have made some great friends and some wonderful scumbag enemies! It's been a blast! :) Thank you all! In life change happens. I felt this change coming for a while and I put it off for a long time, yet today the time has come...time for me to leave the CLM life and move onto new adventures.

Maybe I will start my own personal blog and expand on my crazy-ass rants on life in general. Maybe I will begin writing a romance novel or movie script or something! I don't honestly know...but I need a change. Speaking of changes, I even made the choice to stop eating meat and dairy recently. And I'm a serious MEAT LOVER too! I love my char siu (bbq pork) so much that my wife nicknamed me "Char Siu Guy!" But nothing is forever! Again, in life change happens. It will be interesting to see what the bodily health effects will be with a vegetarian lifestyle. Maybe this is my quest to be a true Shaolin Monk! Obviously the wife ruins any chances of me ever becoming a true MONK! Haaha! Hey, a man has to have some vices, right?!!

So allow me to move on just as you all will continue to do. What's down the road for me? I will focus more on music; working with my Funk/Soul/R&B cover band, Mo Bounce ( http://www.mobounce.net ) and get my groove on with them - if I can get the lazy bastards to rehearse! So life won't be too boring for me without CLM, I hope!

If anyone cares to know what is happening with me, you can follow me on Twitter.com at - TheDragonB
http://twitter.com/thedragonb

For the China residents, you can stay in touch with me on QQ: 1302576671
I do not use it much, but eventually I will log in.

I am sure to miss you all, but you have many new blog writers here on CLM to take my place! They will surely keep you entertained and informed! Hmm, they may not cause the fiery drama that I can stir up, but Peter and David have created hell storms of their own! So to the bloggers... GIVE THEM HELL with a touch of good advice!

Good luck, you all! Maybe I will peek in from time to time and see what is happening. Enjoy life and as always, "Protect your heart!"

Much peace,
Bren

Wow. I feel incredibly sad. I cannot tell you Bren how much I enjoyed your blogs, how much I learned from you and how much your voice will be missed here. You were a true voice of wisdom and compassion. There may be new bloggers here, but I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that you are irreplaceable. I will take note of your twitter and QQ accounts in the hopes of following your adventures. Best of luck to you in whatever happens down the line.

It seems quite amazing yet somehow appropriate that, between me posting the new blogs and preparing the newsletter, in only a few moments, Peter got here first to comment. There are a few of the long term bloggers I would defer to, and Peter is definitely one of them.

Bren, in your time as a member and a blogger you have entertained us, enlightened us, taught us, cared for us, protected us, shocked us, encouraged us, enabled us, given much joy to us and, on the other hand, occasionally pissed us off :). How could we, as individuals and as a community, not miss you?

Your absence will be felt for a long, long time. At CLM, behind the scenes, when your notice arrived we had a universal lump in our throat. Some eyes shed tears. That is how much you are cared for. I've no doubt that same effect will be felt throughout the larger CLM and ALM community.

Goodbye, our GOOD FRIEND; take care, do well and succeed in all things. Our thoughts and our wishes will go with you where ever you may be.

So sad!

Bren, I notice couple of days ago that you deleted you profile, I was shocked and disappointed. Now I am so so sad to know officially that you will no longer write blogs here and will leave CLM seem like forever.

I respect any western men who has a Chinese wife . And I love and respect you as a "brother-in-law". You are such a great "brother-in-law". You gave Chinese girls valuable advice on dating online, you encouraged us, you inspired us and you of course entertained us with you writing style similiar to Mark Twain's.

AIN'T NO SUNSHINE WHEN HE'S GONE..........

GOD BLESS YOU! I will always wish you ALL THE BEST!

Ah yes... getting band mates to rehearse.."car trouble" 'working late" "family situation" " my dog is on fire" etc etc etc.. Then when they do all eventually show up. .. albeit late, drunk, stoned, bickering with their partner(s)....so many many distractions.. Wives, girl friends, libations and other recreations that interfere with a cohesive and productive practice session.. Then miking, getting that damn drummer to tone it down.. "artistic differences"! ( that song you brought in last week sucks) the occasional punch up.. Ah yes rehearsals.... the lead singer is a freakin prima donna.. Oh..it is amazing that so simple a task, show up. Sober. alone. Prepared. ready to WORK.. Yes, Bren We will all miss you.. Sorry. I got off on the wrong track for a bit...Good luck and stay in touch!

Oh Man! You are leaving!
You are my teacher. My writing style more or less has some influence from yours.
But I understand your leaving.
Wish you and your wife happy every day.

Hi Bren, change happens and change is always for better!
On a dating webiste the best change to happen it to take down profile and hold his/her hands to the wedding church. You have achieved it and congratulations.
A married life will give you more insights and experiences regarding love and relationship, more than what we do on this website. So we hope to hear from you by then the real expert advices..
Good luck and Enjoy!
